Religion is logically inconsistent

Religion is logically inconsistent.

Why do I say that?

Well, because when a religion starts, there is a Messiah. The person that delivers the message. Think Allah (May his name be praised), Jesus, or Joe Smith as examples of messiah's. That person demonstrates actual miracles to several acolytes or disciples if you will. Those people actually SEE a miracle (or several miracles) that proves to them that the religion is fact. An example might be in the Mormon faith, the golden sheets upon which were printed the Book of Moroni, or in the Catholic faith, Jesus walking on water. Later, miracles cease. One is expected to take the religion on faith. Think of the miraculous disappearance of the golden sheets upon which the Book of Moroni was printed, or of no modern person walking on water.

So, in the beginning, direct verifiable proof was available to convert believers.

Later this proof is not available. But believers are still expected to be converted and believe.

This is not logically consistent.
