So, Christmas, my first with Lexi. Awesome! I hope have many more! The day started not too early, about 8 or so, we go up, shared presents, played with them a little. She really was tickled by the little gifts I got her. Then I went back bed, then we had french toast for breakfast, now we are going to go see The Hobbit, The Desolation of Smaug. Later we shall go out to dinner together.

Save money while saving the environment!

Well, my lady love is gone to visit a friend and attend a wedding. She'll be back soon, but in the meantime, I am alone in my apt. Bored. On a political note, Our Prez says that he is willing to negotiate as long as he gets everything he wants. Okay, let me restate that. What he said was he was NOT willing to negotiate as long as the government is shut down and the debt ceiling is not raised. The reason the government is shutdown is that the DEM's and the REP's disagree strongly on what the budget should contain, so while each separate house (House and Senate) has internally passed a budget, each budget is not palatable to the other side. So, as the Prez is a DEM, he will only sign the SENATE budget not the HOUSE budget. So basically he is saying, sure, we can negotiate. Give me what I want and then we can talk. What an asshole. That is not negotiation, once you have what you want, there is no reason for you to give the other side ANYTHING. That is not negotiation, but that is the story with this president, "My way or the highway." I hope he gets AIDS.

So. Now I am 54. Hard to believe! I am living with a lady, in love, and happy. Still have a job, good income, poorly managing my money, but trying to be better and my love is trying to help me in that regard.

Hey! it has been more than a year since I last blogged... And guess what? I have a girlfriend. Lexi and I have been together since Jan 2013 and are living together now. I think it is awesome! I think she is awesome! Yes, we are very different as couples go, but, hey, it seems to work for us. I love her!
