Nudity in the tv show Game of Thrones

You know, it’s amazing to me how immature people are.

Prudes in the United States are upset about the casual nudity in this tv show, and therefor dislike it. Some say that the nudity should only be there for ‘artistic’ reasons. It disgusts me.

Nudity is our natural state, we are brought into this world nude, by parents who had sex in order to conceive us, and yet Americans , in their puritanical ethos, are offended and ashamed when they see a nude person.

I have heard some women say that they are ‘disgusted’ when they can discern that another woman owns nipples through her clothing, either by mischance or design! When ALL people who haven’t had cancer own nipples!

America, GROW UP! Sex and nakedness are part of life, get over it!

So there I was, standing behind my wife waiting for the parade to begin, pain in my back, pain in my feet, knees swelling, and suddenly I was having heart palpitations and feeling like I was going to vomit! It must have been my various meds, taken too close together with not enough real food in me... I don’t know!

I just knew I had to go sit down before I fell down!

So, I excused myself and found a grubby piece of sidewalk next to a building and sat down in a heap.

The parade started and beautiful people walked by me back and forth, some scantily clad, others not so much, I turned my face downwards, I was embarrassed. I felt alone in a sea of humanity, and yet, my wife was only 25 feet away, I hoped she was enjoying the parade! I didn’t want that foolish old man that loves her (me!) to ruin it for her!

Suddenly, a skin tight rainbow pair of legs came toward me.

I’d seen this young lady several times going back and forth with friends of hers in the crowd.

She knelt in front of me and put her hand on my elbow, it was hot, maybe she was on ecstasy, and she looked me in the eye and told me I was beautiful, twice, before one of her friends grabbed her and dragged her away.

To whomever you are, I hope you see this, thank you! You really made an old, worthless man feel good for a moment!

My beautiful young wife takes so much care of me and I feel so much like I am a burden to her... that having a random stranger say a kind thing to me really made me feel better and like I am maybe not so bad, like maybe I am not the total POS, that I feel I am some times.

Thank you young lady, whereever you are, and especially, thank you Wife, for being in my life!

Mistakes

So, I left the military almost exactly 30 years ago, right now...

And for almost exactly 30 years I’ve been having dreams/nightmares about trying to become a soldier again.

I was medically discharged due to a knee problem that I developed while I was a soldier, a permanent condition that I got, called Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis. After 2 unsuccessful surgeries to remove it, the Army decided to make me a civilian.

And for all these years I have wished I was still a soldier and in my dreams I have tried to become one again.

I wish I could have stayed in, but that was not within my control.

I wonder what mistake I made to contract this life changing disease?

Who voted for what? Politics in America, part 3

So, guess what?

Congresspeople vote, and they vote on a lot of things! Sometimes they vote for things, and don’t want you to know it... an example is Congress voted back in the early 2000’s to abdicate Congresses role in declaring war! They gave that power solely to the President!

Well, that President declared two wars, that turned out to be wildly unpopular!

So, Congress started acting like the President shouldn’t have done that and that he was terrible for doing that, but the truth is that he couldn’t have done that, without them voting to give him that power, which THEY HAD DONE!

So, guess what? Your Congress person will lie to you about what they voted on... they wouldn’t say, “I didn’t vote for that!”, they will say, “No one should vote for a bill like that!” Which will make you THINK they didn’t vote that way, when they did! Or they will say something else, which makes you think they didn’t without actually lying to your face... but I still call it lying because that is the intent! The intent is for them to get you to think something that isn’t true.

It’s called Rhetoric and it is what Socrates was teaching the young men of Greece... so he had to die.

Politics in the USA, part 1

Hi,

So, many people seem to think that voting and politics are very simple... well, they can be, if you just want to always vote for the same old thing, but remember, if you always vote for the same thing, you will always get the same thing.

Is that what you want? The same thing you’ve always gotten?

If that’s what you want, then do it, vote the way you always have.

If you want change though, you’ve got to be that change.

You’ve got to start voting for that change.

Now, you can believe what ever the talking heads on the news media tell you, you can trust the people on social media and believe that none of them are lying to you or trying to manipulate you, but truthfully, it seems that these days, that just isn’t so anymore.

It seems that the world has changed and no one will simply tell you the truth, everyone seems to have a hidden agenda and to be trying to manipulate you and make you vote the way THEY want you to, not the way you would want to if left alone and left to review the facts.

Now, even if you like the way you voted, after they have manipulated you, wouldn’t you rather not be manipulated? Isn’t it disgusting that these ‘influencers’ are manipulating you? Me, I want to vote based on real facts, regardless if they are things I believe or not, I’d rather know the truth, not just reinforce ideas already in my mind.

In effect they are stealing your vote from you!

But, over the next few posts, I’m going to try to help you to see how you can still vote the way you wish, without these manipulative people lying or twisting the truth to steal your vote away.

Okay, so the truth is that no one will ever tell you the truth!

No elected official will tell you that the truth is that they only care about being re-elected. Nothing else.

All news organizations have an agenda.

And it isn’t to tell you the simple truth and let you make up your own mind, no, it’s to push their agenda down your throat.

If you want to find the truth, you’ve got to do your own research... not research on sites that already have an agenda, and all liberal sites have an agenda, just like all conservative sites do, it’s just a different agenda.

So, where do you go?

Well, for starters, let’s list some websites. Congress has a service for them, it is an office full of accountants whose job is to generate accurate accounting reports for Congress.

Well, you can use them too! You can access all their reports. No charge, and you get accurate numbers, not bullshit numbers twisted by by someone whose only goal is to get you to vote for them again!

Go there, check it out, and remember, I’m not saying your favorite elected official is garbage, just that you need to remember, they are in it for themselves, just trying to get through their lives as best they can and to continue in their job that they love, ruling over You.

Naked and Afraid

So, the wife and I have been watching this tv show called Naked and Afraid.

It’s a show where ‘survivalists’ are dropped off naked with a couple of tools, somewhere for a few weeks... usually 21 days, I believe.

Well, after watching years and years of this I am so confounded!

So, as a teen I made blowguns and darts and throwing spears as well as thrusting spears. I threw knives, as well as shooting, pistols and rifles.

Watching this show makes me feel like I could definitely teach all these contestants how to make good throwing spears for hunting, good thrusting spears for protection, and how to practice throwing so you can hit stuff you want to eat.

So, Discovery Channel, listen up! I’ll gladly teach these ‘survivalists how to make proper spears. Drop me a line!
