Driving

Well, today as I was driving I couldn't help but notice that so many people seem completely unable to focus on driving when they are driving! 

I know this is not a new topic for discussion, it has been mentioned many times in the various media outlets available to us, from bumper stickers (Hang up and drive!) to the legislature (for example the current law in Washington, DC banning cell phone use while driving). However it is not just cell phone use! It is reading the newspaper, talking with your kids in the back seat, today I actually saw a guy with his dog in the front seat and he was petting it and talking to it when he should have been looking to the front so that he would not have hit the guy in front of him!

When I am driving, I am focused. Driving is serious, that 3200 pound thing you are in control of could become a 60 mph murder weapon inadvertently if you do not pay sufficient attention!
